Victor Andrews is a Master’s candidate in the University of Michigan’s School of Social work with a focus on Community Organization. He served as a graduate assistant at the National Forum, focusing his attention on the Texas Grant Initiative and Philanthropic Efforts at Hispanic Serving Institutions. Victor is a May 2011 graduate of Clark Atlanta University, where he received a bachelors of Social Work. His future interests include the creation of funding initiatives for HBCUs, academic support programs for first generations students, and eventually becoming the president of a historically black college or university (HBCU). Victor credits the experience and guidance of Clark Atlanta University staff for fostering his passion in wanting to ensure that higher education is accessible to African American students.
