Chengchen Zhu comes from China and is in her first year as a master student in Teaching and Learning in Educational Studies. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor, she received her BA at Sichuan International Studies University, China, majoring in Teaching Chinese As a Foreign Language. She had a one-year exchange experience in University of California, Riverside during her third year of college. She previously was involved in a project by the Department of Education in Southwest University, China and participated in writing a research paper (Local Identity of No-fee Pre-service Students and Its Impact on Their Localized Professional Orientation, Chinese Education & Society). She shows great interest in higher education in comparative perspective related to China and hopes that all students regardless of their culture, linguistic and religion have equal chance to pursue academic success. For fun, she loves dancing, traveling and making new friends.
