Prior to arriving at the University of Michigan Chris worked in various functional areas of student affairs at public and private four year institutions and at a California community college.  Chris came to Ann Arbor from Southern California and is the proud product of 2/3 of the California public higher education system as he attended the University of California, Santa Barbara for his undergraduate degree and California State University, Long Beach where he earned his Master’s degree. Although Michigan winters are difficult, Chris feels blessed to have the opportunity to work and study with members of the CSHPE and Forum communities.  Upon graduation Chris anticipates entering the job market in search of a faculty position at a major research university.
