“Challenges and Opportunities” will be a forum for ideas, values, and strategies will coalesce with those of other leaders — college presidents, researchers, professors, student activists, higher education associations representatives, and legal professionals. Together, we will resituate a central civil rights issue within the context of contemporary educational leadership, practices, and responsibilities in order to solve the quandary of immigration and higher education. Our collective goal is to promote leadership in blazing a trail of access to higher education for students, who are currently marginalized in our higher educational system. Together we will dialogue, ruminate, communicate, understand, and commit to action in our shared vision.
