Timothy Carroll

20140819_141744 (2)Tim Carroll is a master’s student in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education, where his interests include higher education policy, access and equity, and the nonprofit sector. Originally from Kirksville, Missouri, he has a B.A. in American Studies from Carleton College. After leaving Carleton, he taught English at a secondary school in Santander, Spain. He returned to Minnesota for two years of AmeriCorps service as a college advisor with College Possible, working with high school seniors at Community of Peace Academy, Ubah Medical Academy, and Humboldt High School. He comes to Michigan from western Massachusetts, where he was an assistant director of financial aid at Williams College. Tim enjoys hiking, live music, Midwestern beer, and talking about the Twin Cities.
