Evelyn Galván has a Masters in Higher Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelors in Public Policy focused on immigration and education policy from University of Michigan. A native of southwest Detroit, Evelyn has a passion for issues of access and equity in education. Evelyn currently works at the National Forum on Higher Education for the Public Good at University of Michigan helping to plan the New Leadership Academy. She has worked in law offices, think tanks, and community advocacy organizations. She hopes to continue working in areas of student success for vulnerable student populations and in public policy. Evelyn enjoys dancing, spending time with loved ones, and visiting new places.
