James is a research assistant and policy analyst at the National Forum. He graduated from the college of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan in December 2017 with a degree in International Studies. Originally from Macomb Township, Michigan, his professional and academic interests include environmental policy and activism, educational equity, human rights, and legal history. He aspires to attend law school and catalyze positive change through his professional goals and personal activities. Aside from his work at the National Forum, James enjoys reading, hiking, playing the bass guitar, and traveling both abroad and within his home state of Michigan.
