James is an undergraduate student in the college of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan. Originally from Macomb Township, Michigan, James is studying International Studies with a minor in Sustainability. His professional and academic interests include environmental policy and activism, educational equity, human rights, and history. He aspires to attend law school and catalyze positive change through his professional goals and personal activities. Aside from his academic studies and work at the National Forum, James enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling both abroad and within his home state of Michigan.
